 JOB TITLE: ONCOLOGY NURSE

REPORTS TO: CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

a) JOB PURPOSE

The Oncology Nurse will provide specialized, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients across the continuum of care, including prevention, treatment, symptom management, and palliative support. The role aims to ensure safe chemotherapy administration, optimal patient outcomes, and excellent patient experience.

b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
  • Safely prepare, administer, and monitor chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments.
  • Assess patients before, during, and after treatment, promptly identifying and managing adverse reactions or complications.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, side effects, self-care, and follow-up requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions.
  • Participates in cancer prevention and early detection activities.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards within the oncology unit.
  • Provide emotional support, counselling, and advocacy for patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuous professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Higher Diploma in Oncology Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Valid Practice License as an Oncology Nurse.
  • Valid Certificate in BLS and ACLS
  • At least one (1) year of working experience as an Oncology Nurse in reputable health facility.

JOB TITLE: DIGITAL MARKETER

REPORTS TO: MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

a) JOB PURPOSE

To ensure continuous favorable business growth and strong brand positioning for the hospital through innovative, strategic, cost-effective, and high-impact digital marketing initiatives. The role supports customer acquisition, retention, and brand consistency across all digital, visual, and internal communication platforms.

b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Online Growth

  • Ensure continuous growth of the hospital’s digital brand through increased followers, engagement, and outreach in line with the Hospital Marketing Plan.
  • Address all online inquiries and manage business leads generated through digital platforms to drive hospital business growth.
  • Advise, formulate, and implement innovative digital advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Execute eCommerce and social media strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage the hospital’s online presence using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Convert online visits into measurable business outcomes and revenue.
  • Monitor website traffic, customer reviews, and online engagement to evaluate performance.
  • Analyze website and sales-related data to guide decision-making and predict future trends.
  • Implement and monitor strategies using data analysis, SOI, and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvements in user experience and customer journey across all digital touchpoints.

Website & Content Management

  • Ensure the hospital website is easily discoverable by the target audience (SEO and discoverability).
  • Optimize website structure, functionality, and content to drive relevant traffic.
  • Manage website content and implement content strategies to achieve online objectives.
  • Ensure payment options, booking tools, and promotional tabs are correctly configured and functional.
  • Manage website data, analytics, and reporting.

Creative Design, Branding & Visual Media

  • Lead and execute photography and videography for hospital marketing, campaigns, events, corporate communications, and internal use.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and manage high-quality visual content for digital platforms, campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Design and oversee production of billboards, banners, posters, flyers, signage, and outdoor advertising materials.
  • Ensure timely completion of all creative artworks and designs for campaigns, promotions, and hospital initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and strictly enforce the Hospital Brand Manual, ensuring consistency in:
    • Logos
    • Colors
    • Typography
    • Tone of voice
    • Visual identity across all platforms and materials
  • Handle internal designs including presentations, internal posters, staff communications, notices, reports, and corporate branding materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure high-quality output of all branded materials.

Strategic Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Play a key role in strengthening and implementing the hospital’s overall marketing strategy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and communicate insights to management.
  • Implement advanced marketing strategies including:
    • Video marketing
    • Influencer marketing
    • Programmatic advertising
    • Affiliate marketing
    • Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Ensure existing corporate and non-corporate accounts remain active and deliver favorable volumes through continuous engagement, follow-ups, updates, courtesy visits, and health talks.
  • Address customer complaints, identify root causes, escalate appropriately, and follow up to resolution.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient outpatient (OPD) process flow and proactively address queues.
  • Coordinate with OPD HODs to ensure customer-friendly service delivery.
  • Manage and analyze customer feedback to support service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and relationship management at all times.

c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BBIT, Marketing & Communication, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or any other related Business field.
  • At least 2 years’ proven experience in Digital Marketing, preferably within a corporate or healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in content creation, including photography and videography for marketing and corporate communications.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CorelDRAW or equivalent).
  • Experience in designing and managing outdoor advertising materials such as billboards, banners, posters, and signage.
  • Understanding of brand management, including development and enforcement of a Brand Manual across digital, print, and internal materials.
  • Experience managing and optimizing websites, social media platforms, and digital advertising campaigns.

JOB TITLE:  MEDICAL OFFICER

REPORTS TO:  MEDICAL OFFICER IN-CHARGE

a) JOB PURPOSE

To attend to patients in the Outpatient department by offering consultations and performing necessary procedures, stabilize emergencies in the Accident and Emergency and Inpatient department, liaise with consultants in the management of patients in the Inpatient and Outpatient departments.

b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attending to any emergencies in the A&E and Out-patient departments
  • Attending patients in the In -patient department in conjunction with the consultant.
  • Attending direct admissions and doing admissions of patients when deemed necessary.
  • Participating in mortality and morbidity audits.
  • Diagnosis and management as per protocol.
  • Participation in health talks and outreach programs
  • Participation in training including weekly CMEs
  • Participation in creating clinical SOPs in coordination with resident consultants.
  • Maintaining medical records through proper documentation of patient’s medical history and procedures done.
  • Counseling patients and relatives on diagnosis and bereavement

c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery.
  • Registered with The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
  • Valid practicing License from The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
  • Active BLS AND ACLS certificates.

JOB TITTLE:  :  SECURITY CO-ORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER

Premier Hospital is seeking a committed and highly vigilant Security Co-ordinator to ensure the safety, protection, and effective security operations of the facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding staff, patients, visitors and hospital property, while upholding the highest standards of security management.

a) JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Operations Manager the Security Co-ordinator will be responsible for 

  • Formulating and implementing security policies and processes that ensure the safety of staff, patients, and all individuals accessing the facility.
  • Safeguarding hospital property from damage, loss, or security risk through effective prevention, monitoring, and response mechanisms.

b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Security & Safety of the Facility
  • Formulate and implement security policies and procedures across the hospital.
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of staff, patients, visitors, and property.
  • Ensure timely closure of all reported security incidents with clear mitigation plans.
  • Implement fire safety plans and ensure compliance.
  1. Staff Management
  • Ensure proper deployment and rotation of guards.
  • Oversee induction, orientation, grooming, and conduct of all security personnel.
  • Motivate and support guards to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Submit accurate monthly guard attendance lists to Finance for payroll processing.
  1. Policy Implementation & SOP Development
  • Develop and implement relevant security policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
  • Cascade policies to all staff and ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review policies and purpose improvements.
  1. Security Surveillance Reporting
  • Prepare and submit daily security reports to supervisors and senior management.

  • Oversee registration and monitoring of all visitors entering the premises.
  • Manage parking access and traffic flow.
  1. CCTV Management
  • Oversee all CCTV operations within the facility.
  • Train and guide control room operators on effective CCTV monitoring.
  • Supervise installation, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV equipment.
  • Handle administrative roles related to video surveillance.
  1. Relationship Management

  • Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field
