JOB TITLE: CLINICAL SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)
REPORTS TO: MEDICAL DIRECTOR
a) JOB PURPOSE
The Clinical Services Co-ordinator, reporting to the Medical Director, will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the smooth delivery of medical services across the hospital by supporting clinical operations, ensuring effective communication between departments, managing doctor and consultant documentation, and assisting the Medical Director in administrative and operational duties.
The role is critical in enhancing patient care, improving clinical efficiency, strengthening coordination among medical teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clinical Operations Support.
- Coordinate daily clinical activities across departments to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
- Liaise with medical staff to address scheduling conflicts, patient flow concerns, and operational bottlenecks.
- Support implementation and adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor patient turnaround times and facilitate timely interventions to improve service efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical performance and patient outcomes.
- Doctor & Consultant Management.
- In liaison with the Medical Director, ensure all visiting and resident consultants remain compliant with legal, regulatory, and hospital policy requirements including licensure, indemnity, registration, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate and updated consultant documentation and ensure timely renewal of licenses and professional certifications.
- Develop and manage a centralized database of visiting and resident consultants detailing specialty, availability, contractual status, and compliance records.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, credentialing, and scheduling of new consultants in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Monitor and support adherence to hospital clinical protocols, documentation standards, and patient handover procedures by consulting physicians.
- Administrative Support to Medical Director.

Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other administrative documentation on behalf of the Medical Director.

Track implementation of clinical improvement initiatives, audit recommendations, and strategic action plans.

Coordinate internal meetings, medical staff briefings, departmental reviews, and clinical governance discussions.

Follow up on action points arising from meetings and ensure timely implementation.
- Interdepartmental Liaison & Clinical Coordination.
- Serve as a communication link between medical departments, nursing services, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and administration to ensure coordinated service delivery.
- Follow up on cross-functional operational issues affecting clinical performance and patient care.
- Facilitate timely communication and escalation of operational challenges requiring multidisciplinary intervention.
- Promote collaborative working relationships among clinical and support departments.
- Patient Experience & Service Quality.
- Monitor patient feedback relating to medical services and escalate matters requiring clinical or administrative intervention.
- Support service excellence initiatives aimed at improving patient experience and clinical touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure adherence to patient safety standards and quality care requirements.
- Support complaint resolution processes involving medical services and ensure timely follow-up
- Compliance, Documentation & Governance.
- Maintain updated documentation relating to clinical policies, departmental workflows, consultant records, and duty rosters.
- Support preparation for internal audits, external inspections, accreditation exercises, and regulatory reviews.
- Ensure confidentiality, proper handling, and secure management of clinical records and patient information in line with hospital policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor compliance with clinical governance and operational documentation standards.
- Project Coordination & Strategic Support.
- Participate in hospital-wide projects and strategic initiatives led by the Medical Director.
- Support implementation and rollout of new clinical services, pilot programs, and healthcare innovations.
- Coordinate assigned departmental projects and monitor progress against implementation timelines.
- Support research collaborations and service development initiatives where applicable.
c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, or a related healthcare field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in hospital coordination, clinical operations, or healthcare administration.
- Prior experience coordinating medical staff, consultants, or clinical services will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of hospital systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare service delivery.
- Familiarity with medical licensure, credentialing, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
d) KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB TITLE: PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIST
REPORTS TO: PHARMACY MANAGER
a) JOB PURPOSE
To be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation, dispensing, and inventory management of medications across the various pharmacy units of Premier Hospital. This includes the First Floor Pharmacy, Chemotherapy Section, Main Pharmacy, and Main Store. The role demands high levels of accuracy, adherence to safety protocols, teamwork, and compliance with regulatory standards to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.
b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispensing and patient support
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions.
- Provide patient counseling on dosage, side effects, and proper medication use.
- Assist clinical teams with drug-related queries and prescription reviews.
- Handle outpatient and inpatient medication needs from the First Floor Pharmacy.
- Chemotherapy section duties
- Assist in preparation, labeling, and dispensing of chemotherapy drugs under strict safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with oncology-specific procedures and protective equipment standards.
- Collaborate with oncology staff to verify chemotherapy prescriptions and dosing.
- Inventory and stock management
- Manage pharmaceutical stocks across dispensing pharmacies.
- Ensure timely stock rotation, prevent expiries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Main pharmacy operations.
- Prepare inpatient drug orders for wards and special units.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of controlled substances.
- Participate in ward rounds when required for medication-related interventions.
- Maintain accurate prescriptions, stock movement, and patient transactions.
c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Pharmacy.
- At least 2 years’ experience with 1 in a busy hospital setup.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
d) KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
