Premier Hospital is a tertiary care facility situated in Mombasa City along Links Road in Nyali area. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating and developing the Clinical Services Division of the hospital.

A seasoned leader, the successful candidate will possess a unique blend of clinical and administrative experience and will be responsible for the following amongst others:

  • Ensuring the provision of high standards of evidence based care.
  • Steering the development, review and effective implementation of clinical practice policies, standards, protocols and procedures.
  • Facilitating continuous improvement of clinical care, services and facilities.
  • Championing patient advocacy and ensuring the highest standards of customer service in patient care are maintained.
  • Undertaking ward rounds on a regular basis to keep in touch with patients, staff, ward and departments and strengthen patient care and facilitate appropriate decision making.
  • Coordinating resolution of medico-legal matters.
  • Liaison between the hospital and external stakeholders on all clinical matters.
  • Providing leadership for all hospital clinical and nonclinical quality improvement programs and audits.
  • Facilitating continuous medical education programs and symposiums.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues


Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in a medical specialty
  • Training and / or experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration will be an added advantage
  • At least two years’ service as clinical lead (e.g. Department or Section Head)
  • Astute interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
  • Proven experience in leading improvement programs




Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery
  • Master’s degree in the respective specialty
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Laparoscopy and/or Endoscopy will be an added advantage
  • Valid practice license, current retention license and in good standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
  • Passion for patient experience
  • High sense self-drive and self-motivation
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills



Reporting to the Medical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating and developing the pharmacy service in the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:

  • Coordinate pharmaceutical operations and services to ensure they meet the expected standards of sufficiency and quality in the hospital.
  • Provide pharmaceutical leadership and mentorship of staff in the pharmacy of hospital.
  • Procurement and management of medicines and other medical consumables needed in the hospital in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
  • Ensure that all established pharmacy and pharmaceutical policies, procedures and process are duly known and implemented in the hospital.
  • Chair the Therapeutics Committee in the hospital.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives in the Pharmacy Department.


Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Masters’ Degree in a health related field an added advantage
  • Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
  • Must have a valid practice license
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations
  • Knowledge of professional standards

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Degree in Secretarial Studies or a Diploma in Secretarial studies.
  • Five years working experience, two of which should be a Personal assistant level.
  • The ability to always maintain confidence and discretion.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • A team player and able to quickly establish credibility amongst people at all levels both within and external.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Extremely detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality across all tasks.
